Metsä Board Corporation Stock exchange release Changes board/management/auditors

The composition of Metsä Board Corporation's Corporate Leadership Team will
change as of 1 March 2026.
Metsä Board's current SVP, Production and Supply Chain, Jussi Noponen has been
appointed EVP of Metsä Wood, part of Metsä Group, effective 1 March 2026.
Noponen will continue in his current role until 28 February 2026.
Following his appointment, Laura Remes has been appointed SVP, Production and
Supply Chain at Metsä Board. She has previously served as SVP, Business
Transformation at Metsä Board.
At the same time, Anssi Tammilehto, who will start as Metsä Board's Chief
Financial Officer on 26 January 2026, will as of 1 March, in addition to his CFO
responsibilities, assume the transformation duties previously held by Remes.

appointment as Chief Financial Officer strengthens our leadership model at a
time when the execution of our transformation programme and long‑term value
creation have key focus. Together, these appointments provide a solid foundation
for responding to changes in our operating environment and for taking Metsä
Board forward in a determined manner.”
As a result of these appointments, Metsä Board's Corporate Leadership Team will
consist of the following members as of 1 March 2026:

· Minna Björkman, Senior Vice President, Containerboard
· Erja Hyrsky, Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations
· Laura Remes, Senior Vice President, Production and Supply Chain
· Anssi Tammilehto, Chief Financial Officer
· Camilla Wikström, Senior Vice President, Human Resources
